Tour Guides Position: We are hiring English, Spanish, French and Portuguese- speaking Tour Guides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Requirements: We are a private tour company based in San Francisco, California. We offer daily private and VIP guided tours to Northern California top sights and attractions. We are looking for local, reliable, disciplined, available, knowledgeable and energetic local driver-tour guides in San Francisco.
English, Spanish, French and Portuguese-speaking tour guides are our top priority; however, Japanese, Chinese and Italian speaking tour guides are welcome to apply as well.
Only residents of San Francisco and the Bay Area may apply. All other applicants will not be considered for the position.
Applicants should be willing and physically able to participate in tours requiring hiking and walking for extended periods.
A clean driving record and excellent driving skills are required, as tour guides will be expected to host the tour and drive at the same time. Tour guides should have experience leading guided tours in Northern Californian state and national parks such as Yosemite, Tahoe, Big Sur/ Monterey, Redwoods, Wine Country, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Sonoma and Marin County.

Compensation and Benefits: $20 +/ Hour + overtime and double time wages, generous gratuities + bonuses + other benefits. These increase with seniority depending on performance
-Unlike other tour companies; we only deal with private and VIP clients (private and VIP clients mean better tips and high-quality customer experience!
-Wages are paid by the hour not by the trip, unlike many other companies. We pay for overtime, double-time, and even drive time to pick up locations no matter how far they are from our local San Francisco office. We compensate you for every minute of your trip, even for time spent idle waiting for your customers.
Position Details: For this coming season, we are hiring energetic, physically fit tour guides with the hopes of working with them for years to come! If you are available, flexible, reliable, outgoing, and enjoy interacting with customers, we welcome you to apply.
Job Responsibilities: Your main duty is to guide the tour while safely driving to destinations within or just outside of the Bay Area, including Yosemite, Sequoia National Park, Mammoth Lakes, Eastern Sierra, Tahoe, Redwoods, Wine Country, Marin and Sonoma Counties, Monterey, Carmel, Santa Cruz, Silicon Valley, Big Sur, etc. You will be expected to pick-up and drop-off passengers at San Francisco hotels as well as those in surrounding areas like Yosemite, Tahoe or Monterey. You may travel with one person only for one day or multiple days; most of our private VIP tours are conducted in luxury SUVs. Fifteen -passenger vans are often used for small groups or families. (A CDL is preferred but not required).
-Job Type: Part-time and seasonal. Reliable tour guides who meet our requirements and are available and reliable when needed will receive more work opportunities than those who don’t.
Required languages: English, but also Spanish, French, and Portuguese Speaking Tour Guides are needed. Japanese, Chinese and Italian speaking tour guides are welcome to apply as well.

This job is ideal for energetic tour guides who love walking and hiking in the mountains. It requires excellent physical condition, 100% flexibility and availability as needed, as well as long driving and traveling overnight far from the Bay Area. If you live outside of San Francisco, please consider traffic before applying, as our office is close to Ocean Beach.
