Description of the American River Whitewater Rafting Tour
The ultimate thrilling Escapade to the American River Whitewater Rafting. Our River Rafting tour will take you from San Francisco to the American Whitewater River rafting that lie in the heart of the Gold Country. We will drive through the Bay Bridge heading east on highway 80 though Sacramento and Central Valley, the fruit basket of the world. A relaxing drive through the agricultural valley where deltas , rivers and lakes lie in the middle of large and flat green agricultural fields. A break is scheduled to have breakfast on or off the highway local restaurants. We will then wind our road up to the South Fork of the American River, located at Sierra Nevada’s Foothills where Gold was discovered back in 1848.Please do not under estimate the safety instructions that will be given to you be a professional rafter or your tour guide. Your safety is our major concern! An excited and thrilling adventure is now waiting for you. Are you ready for such exacting challenge? Of course you are! This is an outrageously fun adventure and memorable experience. Our exciting river rafting is qualified as a Class III River Rafting adventure accessible to beginners and intermediate paddlers. No prior whitewater experience is required. However, participants are required to have a minimum weight of 80lbs or 8 years of age (lighter & younger is acceptable with parental approval).
The America River South Fork will reveal its exciting and unpredictable scenic turns and unique sceneries in the wilderness of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. An action that takes you on an 8-mile ride non-stop you will remember for lifetime. Your tour guide will provide you with more information and recommendations regarding your adventure to the wonderful and spectacular American River rafting tour.
After such adventure, take a relaxing walk along the river or visit James Marshall State Park that still witness the Golden Era of the Gold Rush. You can also cool off in a swimming pool or challenge your team on the outdoor “Beach” Volleyball game.
You will enjoy an affordable and delicious BBQ lunch in the middle of the wild sceneries and water roaring by the American river.
Before heading the road back to San Francisco, the tour guide will offer you a relaxing afternoon tasting the Sierra Nevada’s delicious wine. Taste your favorite red, white or rose wine in or outdoor.
