Hearst Castle-Big Sur Tour Description

First Day : Our two day tour to Monterey,17 Mile Drive, Carmel, Big Sur ,Hearst Castle and Paso Robles wine country is fully escorted and narrated by a certified tour guide. Our Big Sur-Hearst Castle tour is accessed by a VIP SUV, Van or a motor coach depending on your choice and the size of your group. After Lunch, we leave the Cannery Row via the Sunset Drive to the 17 Mile Drive passing the Pacific Grove's scenic
coastline and the old light house. We embark on the 17 Mile Drive for an amazing adventure along the Monterey Bay scenic road winding our way through the horizon. The 17 Miles Drive provides 21 famous and spectacular turnouts along the picturesque coastline. We often choose to make many photo stops at the best viewpoints such: The Bird Rock, a landmark and home to countless shorebirds and huge sea lions. We will naturally make a stop at the famous Lone Cypress viewpoint, the symbol of Pebble Beach. It's considered today as the 17 Mile Drive iconic landmark. Next, we atop at Pebble Beach Lodge and Golf Course. It was Built back in 1919. Pebble Beach is home of the World famous Golf Tournament. A paradise for Golfers including Tiger Woods. After a break at Pebble Beach, we drive along the golf course surrounded by fancy mansions down to Carmel-by-the-Sea, a small coastal charming town endowed with a rich artistic history. Established by a group of artists and writers back in 1920s. Clint Eastwood was the mayor of Carmel from 1986 to 1988. Some famous artist still live in Carmel including Kim Novak. Explore the downtown or stroll along the pacific ocean and enjoy some panoramic views over the Bay and its dramatic lagoons including Pebble Beach. Carmel is also home to the old Mission of San Carlos Borromeo de Carmel. Carmel Mission was established back in 1770 by the Spanish.
Our Hearst Castle-Big Sur Tour through California spectacular scenic scenery will continue as we travel south to Big Sur and Hearst Castle. Capture the beautiful sceneries along California scenic highway 1 as we drive through Big Sur Redwoods, Big Sur old bridges and spectacular vistas points.
The modern story of Big Sur started in the early mid-twentieth century. Big Sur's spectacular and isolated geographical location attracted a number of pioneer -artists, novelists including Robinson Jeffers, Richard Brautigan, Henry Miller, Edward Weston and Jack Kerouac. Big Sur’s increasing popularity and cinematic beauty incited Hollywood’s legendary actor , Orson Welles and his wife Rita Hayworth to purchase a Big Sur house back in 1944. Big Sur became famous and featured some famous movie including ; The Sandpiper, staring by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in 1965. Also, The renounced guitarist Buckethead dedicated a song entitled "Big Sur Moon" from his album Colma.
Our California tour and adventure continues as we travel south to San Simeon where lies Hearst Castle.Our Next Photos stop is scheduled at Piedras Blancas located few miles north of San Simeon.
Piedras Blancas offers you a unique opportunity to picture an army of Giant Sea Elephants lying on the beach. These Elephant seals come ashore and form colonies for only a few months of each year to give birth, breed, and moult. The rest of the year the colonies disperse individually and spend most of their time in pursuit of food, a quest that involves swimming thousands of miles and diving to great depths.
Enjoy watching some 3000 pounds Elephant Seals playing, flipping sand on their backs. Friendly volunteers have emerged to guard the seals from obstreperous humans, and to educate the curious tourists about their history and behavior. Humpback and Blue whales may swim by Big Sur coastline on the way to Baja California and to back to Alaska.
By 5:30-6 PM, we will check in at one of San Simeon Oceanside’s hotels or at one of Paso Robles wine country’s charming Hotels, depending on your choice and budget. Enjoy a glass of wine in your Oceanside room or take a walk at the beach and enjoy a romantic sunset diner by the ocean. 
Second Day : Today, you will enjoy your breakfast in a relaxing atmosphere either in your room overlooking the oceans or hotel restaurant. After breakfast, we check out and drive for only few miles to visit the renewed Hearst Castle. Hearst Castle rises above some scenic mountains overlooking the Pacific Ocean, located only few miles a way from our hotel. Inside Hearst castle property ,you will be escorted to the scenic hills where lies the imposing Hearst Castle. A state professional tour guide Will take on a private tour and open the secret doors of this spectacular and mysterious monument to satisfy your curiosity. 8:00-10:30 AM San Francisco to Monterey & Carmel By- The-Sea
We leave San Francisco round 8 AM and travel south through Silicon Valley down to Monterey and Carmel Enjoy quality time visiting Monterey Historic Cannery Row,lunch and join us afterward for an adventure that takes us on the scenic 17 Mile Drive down to Carmel By-The-Sea.
Enjoy Carmel By-The-Sea, walk to the beach and picture Pebble Beach Golf Course. Pebble beach lies in the middle of a picturesque lagoon on the 17 Mile Drive. Carmel By-The-Sea is an old picturesque town founded back in the 1920s by a group of artists and writers. Admire the picturesque mansions, houses, cottage houses and half-timbered houses that reminds us of the Normandy architectural style. After our break, we may drive you to Carmel wild conservation area by Carmel River where Clint Eastwood’s Ranch House(restaurant) and hotel are located. Picture Carmel old Mission as we drive back to California scenic highway 1 down to Carmel Valley on the way to Big Sur.

1:30 PM Pebble Beach and Carmel by the Sea
We explore Pebble Beach and Carmel by the Sea. The Pebble Beach Community is well-known as kind of resort town, as it is houses several more golf cources, a hotel, and a sap within its perimeters. Carmel by the Sea is a quaint seaside village just to the north of Monterey is the perfact place to get the taste of the Northern California costs quaint.




1:30-4 PM Carmel to Big Sur on California scenic highway 1
Just over 13 miles south of Carmel historic lies the old Bixby Bridge on scenic highway 1. Picture Bixby Bridge overlook the scenic ocean and Bixby Canyon and Creek. It’s one of the oldest arch bridges providing charm and strength.. Next , we will take on a discovery hike to Julia Pfeiffer State Park to admire the hidden waterfalls that remind us of Hawaii.
Big Sur and Hearst Castle Tour continues south on the scenic highway one offering breathtaking view and photos stops.
