From your hotel in San Francisco downtown, Fisherman's Wharf, Sausalito, Napa, Sonoma, Santa Rosa or any other locations, additional fees may apply on pick up out of San Francisco.
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Drive to Sonoma Safari
African Safari & Wine Private Tour will leave San Francisco though the Golden Gate Bridge heading North on Redwood highway 101. You see Sausalito in Marin County as you drive North on highway 101 dominated by the imposing Mount Tamalpais. You will also see Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, it’s a 1956 double-decker bridge that measures 5.4 miles and San Quentin State Prison that profiles at the near end of the bridge. A few miles away, you will be able to see Franck Lloyd's architectural masterpiece and national monument known today as Marin County Civic Center. This eclectic landmark is crowned by circular domes symbolizing galaxies and infinity. It has been the perfect setting for a number of science fiction movies such; Star Wars, Gattaca and THX 1138. We will drive through Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa and Healdsburg.
10:20 AM -12 30 AM Touring Sonoma African Safari
Our African Safari adventure will take you through the mountains, the scenic hills and through the wild canyons where a variety of exotic fauna and flora will amaze you ! California- African Safari in Sonoma County extends over 400-acres of wildlife. You will be escorted by a local and professional tour guide-driver who will reveal the secrets of these giant Mammals. A number of photos stops will be made along the roadway to experience the wildlife of this unique African Safari!
12:30- 1:0 PM Lunch Time
Lunch may take place as BBQ within the Sonoma Wild Safari or anywhere in one Dry Creek Valley or Alexander Valley wineries or restaurants . Our schedule is flexible and has been created to match your needs and expectations.
1:30 PM - 3:30 PM Visit some Wineries
Enjoy a relaxing after noon in Alexander Valley, visit small and family owned wineries along the Russian River and on the back roads of Alexander Valley. Our tour guides will offer more choices regarding wineries, restaurants and sightseeing. If you decided combine wine tasting and sightseeing , we can offer you a combination of wine tasting tour and sightseeing tour to visit some natural wonders located Alexander Valley wine country and the outlying areas. Shopping and outlet escorted tour can be also combined with our Wine tours.
You may also combine Sonoma Safari with a guided tour to Sonoma or Napa Valley.
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM Back to San Francisco
Our Tour Guide will now drive you back to San Francisco after such amazing journey with an optional side trip via Sausalito where you can decide either to stay with us or enjoy Sausalito and leave back to San Francisco via the ferry (tickets are not included). We often choose to make the breathtaking photo stop at Marin Headland overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay area, at the end of the day. The Golden Gate Bridge is San Francisco's most colorful and iconic monument. Thanks to its astonishing giant dimensions, the Golden Gate Bridge becomes the most photographed bridge in the world. These spectacular sweeping views have drawn millions of tourists from all over the world. 5:00 PM approximately Drop Off
Our tour guide will drive you back to your hotel via the famous Pacific Heights (optional). The Pacific Heights is the most expensive area in San Francisco where some Movies stars and celebrities live such : Robin Williams, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Don Johnson, Danielle Steele, Nancy Pelosi, Lars Ulrich and more. We may drive by some famous movie locations such the house where Mrs. Doubtfire was filmed.
